Northumberland Green was established in early 2019 by Caroline and Ian, a wife and husband growing team living on our smallholding in the beautiful north Northumberland countryside north of Alnwick between the Cheviot hills and the sea.
Ian has many years’ growing experience on a 1.7 acre organic mixed crop urban farm run by Growing Communities in east London. Caroline has had careers in the charity sector, nursing, administration and web design and development, and brings her extensive organisational skills to running the business side of things.
We’re both originally from London, but we fell in love with Northumberland when we lived here in 2017, and we’re over the moon that we’re now living here permanently. We’re happy to be becoming known as suppliers of quality, tasty, naturally grown produce to eateries and shops in and around Northumberland.
We share our home with our four rescue animals.
